If you are traveling for the first time or you have been traveling for a long time but have not found the app of your life, this post is meant for you! There are different types of travelers in the world. Some of us are just natural navigators, never needed an offline map, we are just good at finding our way with the paper maps. It doesn't mean that we are against technology, but this is our way! Or we are the techworms who are good at using electronic map on our mobiles. Or some of us would love to socialize with the locals and ask them about how to get to the place for the first time. Yes, this is sometimes a good way of meeting people or having friends from another country ☺ 1. Triposo For me, it is surely not only one of the best travel apps, but also one of the best apps so far. Thanks to Triposo, which is a great offline travel guide, I have never get lost in a new place. Couchsurfing Meeting new friends, getting around with the locals and fellow travelers, or staying at a local's place haven't been this easy! Even if you're not traveling, you can meet the travelers in your hometown/place of residence, host them, or show them around! Only thing you need to do is creating a profile. But it is noteworthy that some users may not reply you if you have few references from other Couchsurfers. Most cities have a weekly event that is usually held at a bar or coffee shop.
